BodyCam Captured The Dramatic Rescue Of A “Miracle Baby” After A Horrific Car Crash
A fisherman reported a car accident, the car was a wreck and it is believed to have been submerged in freezing water over 14 hours before the rescue team arrived on scene. Surprisingly, there was a survivor, 18 – months- old baby, Lily Groesbeck. Her mother, 25-year-old Lynn Jennifer Groesbeck, did not survive the crash and is believed to have died on impact.
The footage from an officer’s body camera captured the actual rescue from the moment they four the car, up to the point when baby Lilly is hospitalised. The dramatic turn of events is absolutely horrifying and breath stopping, even more so, because officers believe that an adult voice led them to the baby. Lilly Groesbeck, is called the miracle baby, not just for surviving, but for having a guardian angel look after her.
Police officers and firefighters said an adult voice led them to believe someone was alive in that car. “I remember hearing a voice that didn’t sound like a child just say, ‘Help me,'” one of the rescuers, Officer Jared Warner, told NBC affiliate KSL. “To me, it was plain as day.” Police have said they believe the child’s mother died on impact.
