Teen Boy Was Rejected By Every Girl Before Homecoming Dance. Than A Kindhearted Stranger Turned Up And Made Him Feel Special
Daniel, 17, has Down Syndrome and dreamed of going to his homecoming dance but was turned down by every girl he tried to invite.
He felt disheartened and rejected, until a 10th grader named Kylie stepped up and asked Daniel to the dance herself. “I don’t think of kids that have a disability… I don’t think of them as being different,” Kylie says. “I hope I can make his night fun.”
Daniel’s mom Tonya, was overwhelmed by the kind gesture: “It’s not about that Daniel has a disability. It’s Kylie didn’t see any disability. That is what your heart wants as a mom.” – she said.
Impressed by Kylie’s kindness, the team at the FOX5 Surprise Squad, decided to step in and give both of them a magical night, they would not forget.
Daniel’s reaction is worth a thousands words. This is what a truly happy person looks like ….
